the pre-release ( To fix USB TTY issues ) 2.6.31-18-55 I have a MythTV
server system that I finally tracked back to the power save (I believe).
I can watch and use recordings during testing but those things set to

That last bullet should have read - So far I have *NOT* successfully
played a sound after the initial power down of the device until I
manually unmute it by pressing the physical mute button.
