Public bug reported: Binary package hint: notify-osd
That's a usability problem I encounter since the new notification system has been introduced. When a URL is provided in a webpage as simple text (not href'ed), I highlight it and drag it to the tabline. This opens a new tab with the URL loaded inside it. Because notifications are now on top of the screen (as opposed to the bottom with the previous system), they cover the tabline and I'm stuck with my URL, waiting for the notification to disappear.
