Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
I've created a Ubuntu One account through my laptop via my wireless connection. I want to register both my laptop and my Desktop computer (which are on the same network) to the account so I can sync files between them when I am traveling with my laptop. Adding my laptop to the account worked just fine. On my desktop though I don't even get the option to add that computer after logging into U1. I would expect that I get a prompt to add my desktop after logging into my account. The account "connected computers" section simply refers me to the installation guide which holds no information on how to add a computer whatsoever. Syncing files between the two machines is barely possible. I have to manually up and download each file on the desktop. I don't think this should be the intended principle behind a syncronization service. Obviously the desktop ubuntu-one session fails to connect to the account.
