Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pfmon

Without the required kernel module, pfmon is useless. The package
description claims that the kernel module is included by default in
Debian kernels, but this does not appear to be true for Ubuntu kernels.
Either enable perfmon in the default kernel build, or provide a package
with the appropriate module so that pfmon can depend on it.

Current output:
$ pfmon uptime
host kernel does not have perfmon support

Desired output:
$ pfmon uptime
 18:34:03 up 21 days,  1:02, 15 users,  load average: 0.44, 0.57, 0.51
244234 UNHALTED_CORE_CYCLES

$ lsb-release -r
Release:        9.10

** Affects: pfmon (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
