@Scott James Remnant, What om26er said its true it should be there, specially
in the netbook edition and Lubuntu.
At this moment there a some friends asking me to install ubuntu on their
netbook wich SDcard as HDD.But after installing there is always something wrong
and the last person I had to

dropped on Desktop install but should be provided on Ubuntu-netbook-
edition and also in lubuntu(somebody at lubuntu mailing list also asked
about this feature) as both are for low end systems.

i did what i was told and installed it on the ssd. the dist-upgrade
after downloading all packages it took almost 22minutes to install those
updates. normally that happens in less than 10mins. then i install
pybootchartgui and rebooted twice but nothing happened. mean no folder
named bootchart was

I'd much prefer to address the performance issue with your SSD then grow
the initramfs with modules for what I consider to be a unique
installation environment. Could you install to your SSD, install all
updates (including one in -proposed), install the pybootchartgui
package, reboot *twice*, and
if i install /root on the ssd my system is almost dead. the ssd is so
slow that if you install ubuntu on it. then if you install any app from
the terminal unless the app is installed the system won't give you
response. in the same way whether its chromium or firefox the browsing
experience is non r
Good question. Why are you installing your /root to the memory
card...separate from /boot on your local SSD?

internet but my solution is the simplest to add modules to the initrd
out of box
