Public bug reported: Binary package hint: thunderbird
The title pretty much says it all. When the profile.ini file says .. IsRelative=1 Path=lbw9bxu7.default it works on the local hard disk. When the profile.ini file says .. IsRelative=0 Path=/mnt/NAS/data/Thunderbird/Profiles/mymail I get the dreaded message: "Thunderbird is already running, but is not responding" (which really means that the profile cannot be found) The network profile works with Ubuntu 9.04 and Thunderbird. Interestingly, the profile also works with Ubuntu 9.10 and the developer version of Thunderbird, version 3.0. My smbfs version is 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.
