I am facing the same problem with my Reliance BB device - C168c (CE0682) in
Lucid (10.04 LTS).
was it not fixed yet?
Any work around for this? i can't even install gnome-ppp since there is

This bug is mostly because of NM and not a kernel level fault.
I can verify the same.
(using opensuse 11.2 with nm 11.2 . there is no problem)

@ANIMESH - I just did add all the required debug information, so unless someone
asks for more this bug should be good.
I'm going to be watching this bug closely as it is all that is holding back my
9.10 rollout.

Kernel has been upgraded to 2.6.32 latest RC7 version
And network has been updated to latest trunk build too.
No it doesnt get stuck at starting but the connecting animation proceeds but
does not connect.
Improvement:-).
Please resolve this soon.
