I have this problem on a Toshiba Satellite U305-2812 running 11.04 Natty
i386. It happens when the laptop is on battery either suspending, waking
up or both.

I can absolutely confirm this bug. I'm using a Thinkpad T61. I can also
confirm that this problem occurs only when on battery and not on AC.

After some more testing, we have found that it only occurs after falling
to sleep on battery. If falling to sleep during AC power and then
disconnecting the plug i dont get the behaviour of computer falling to
sleep twice. Only when falling to sleep on battery.
