This happens to me as well, with my network which is set to be
"available to all users". Whenever the association with my router fails
for any reason (temporary radio interference, for example, or the router
is in the process of rebooting). Network manager sets its state to
disconnected and refuse
When the "Avaliable to all users" checkbox is checked, the NM applet ask
you for the superuser key.
Many times, but not always, when you go to the "Wireless Security"
section, there are no password there, only a blank edit box.
Opposite to this, the file in "/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections
Excuse me, what do you mean by "enter in nm-applet, fill the sudo key"?
I see no way of filling in "sudo key" (btw, what is it?) in nm-applet,
and when it loses passphrases, they simply cannot be entered again
because "Apply" button remains inactive
