When the "Avaliable to all users" checkbox is checked, the NM applet ask you for the superuser key. Many times, but not always, when you go to the "Wireless Security" section, there are no password there, only a blank edit box. Opposite to this, the file in "/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections

Excuse me, what do you mean by "enter in nm-applet, fill the sudo key"? I see no way of filling in "sudo key" (btw, what is it?) in nm-applet, and when it loses passphrases, they simply cannot be entered again because "Apply" button remains inactive -- NM Deleting passwords https://bugs.launchpad
