Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Initially filed upstream as http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=106383 I used to be able to be able to insert notes in Writer by doing Ctrl+Alt+N but this doesn't seem to work with OpenOffice 3.1.1 on one of my Ubuntu 9.10 machines: I can only insert notes using the menus or toolbar button that I added, hitting Ctrl+Alt+N does nothing. Removing ~/.openoffice.org/3/ does not solve the problem. I have now installed ubuntu 9.10 on two machines. Both machines use the official build from the ubuntu main repositories (not a PPA), and one exhibits the behavior, the other doesn't. Could you give me some hint to investigate further what is causing this, since it looks like the packages are not at fault, and the user config doesn't seem to be either?
