I don't believe this is related in any way to https://launchpad.net/bugs/46043";>bug # 46043, as I am not
using a wireless network, and don't have wireless networking problems.
I am also not using Network Manager.
As a side note, this behavior still ocurrs with Firefox 1.5.0.7 and
kernel 2.6.15-2
can this be bug # 46043? are you using nvidia drivers for X?
