I experienced the same type of lockup on Dell D630. NVIDIA GPU NVS 135M,
and Broadcom wireless chip. I have Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit, daily build from
09/20/2010. What should I submit to track down this bug?

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the

I have had the same problem and I had to switch back to windows. It is the D630
with the intel graphics chip and the broadcom wireless driver.
It kept biting me and due to all the hard power on and offs I would lose my
