Hello,

I'm trying to get the mainboard sensors and the pwm fancontrol to work.
However, sensors-detect and pwmconfig don't recognize the right chip
(see below). I'm using ubuntu 9.10.

I'm using the following hardware:

Asus P6T SE
Intel i7 950
12 GB of RAM

When I try to load the driver which is supposed to work with my mb (w83627ehf), 
I get this error:
FATAL: Error inserting w83627ehf

After some research on google, I noticed that there are problems with
the acpi drivers and the 2.6.31 kernel. So I did dmesg|grep -i acpi and
got the following lines which seem to be related to my problem:

Expected behavior: sensors should recognize the chip (if possible even
without having to configure lm-sensors manually) and (after the whole
configuration procedure) the fan should slow down a little bit (it is
awfully loud)
