Public bug reported:

using linphone-3 or twinkle voip apps using alsa default sound device
the microphone seems to be not properly captured

the capturing is working if i use arecord | aplay though ....

after fiddeling around i sometimes get it to work, but it takes hours
and i couldnt figure what triggers it.

in sound preferences dialog i see that the microphone gets a signal.

please ping me on IRC if you need more input. This is quite important as
it blocks me from doing international calls ;) ...
