If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would
be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.

I've done the install with 9.10 a few times on the same laptop. The
first two times, suspend worked fine (I did not try to hibernate). I
decided to try Linux Mint...didn't like it and reinstalled Umbuntu.
