This problem occurs when initially a straight rectangle was drawn. If
you start with a rounded rectangle (in this case the tab Corner radius
is grayed out) then the rouding angle is kept persistent. In order to
change the corner-radius, you have to slide the yellow dot along the
rectangle-border.

Bugs,
If you export as PDF though, the corners still appear round in the PDF
though.
