memtest86+ says memory is ok. The problem exists in the standard Ubuntu- kernel, and only with the 'arcmsr'-module (I use an Areca-raid- controller). I installed on a stand-alone harddisk, built a custom kernel (vanilla 2.6.17 + areca-patch from mm-tree). After that I partitioned my Areca-raid-volu
