OK I will try that. Have you checked that the resulting IPOPT actually
runs correctly... I believe that when IPOPT builds its own copy of
MUMPS, some patches are applied to the source code.

Not sure if this is still an issue, but it works with
./configure --with-mumps-incdir=/usr/include --with-mumps-lib=-ldmumps
'--with-mumps-lib' expects actual linking flags.
