No driver appears in SYSTEM/ADMINISTRATION/HARDWARE DRIVERS but it looks like there is a driver b44. The wireless was working fine until power up yesterday. The same router is working on wired connection without any changes. There does not seem to be a key combination which disables WIFI in Ubuntu, I tried Fn-F1 to Fn F12 just in case there was a bios switch but no luck and it's enabled in bios. I feel a bit reluctant to make any changes because it WAS working just a moment ago - but it seems a new learning curve is waiting. all suggestions gratefully recieved. ** Affects: gnome-nettool (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- wireless disabled in 9.10 upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/498412 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
