Hi all,
I think we should consider to mark this bug as duplicate of bug #435808,

Hi Paz!
And what if you wait an hour or so? When I reboot, I always have access
to Internet, but I start having the noise floor calibration failed
error after half an hour to an hour.
... and I am using 2.6.31-17 and I am having the problem. Do you imly I
should downgrade to 2.6.31-16?
Cheers!
I am also having the same problem on a Sony Vayo PCG-F540 using a D-Link
DWL-G650 wifi card. I have kernel version 2.6.31-17. If I can provide
information to help fix this bug, please let me know.
Cheers!

that's it.

I am very pleased to report - on the first time I loaded the backport
kernel [2.6.31-16-generic-pae] and the modules that I have gotten no
error messages -

With and without the pea kernel, using the backport modules, I got
slower transfer rate speeds, as
reported by software during downloads, and notification of kernel errors
on the desktop - which I didnt
forward using the bug report software. These kernel 'crash' errors
occurred when
