I'm sorry I have the same bugs on my EeePC 901 on Ubuntu 10.04. SD Memories are
not mounted and i get the following messages in syslog:
May 25 15:22:37 shadow kernel: [ 2934.844138] hub 1-0:1.0: connect-debounce
failed, port 5 disabled

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
