Public bug reported: Package: auto-apt Version: 0.3.20 Severity: normal
After auto-apt update, auto-apt search Intrinsic.h fails to find anything; however, zgrep does find it in the Contents files downloaded. (The case in question was compiling dosemu, the current version of which doesn't have X support because of missing build-deps.) -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers dapper-updates APT policy: (500, 'dapper-updates'), (500, 'dapper-security'), (500, 'dapper-backports'), (500, 'dapper') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-23-386 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages auto-apt depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-0ubuntu20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an Versions of packages auto-apt recommends: ii apt 0.6.43.3ubuntu2 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii dpkg-dev 1.13.11ubuntu6 package building tools for Debian ii perl 5.8.7-10ubuntu1 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii sudo 1.6.8p12-1ubuntu6 Provide limited super user privile ii wget 1.10.2-1ubuntu1 retrieves files from the web -- no debconf information ** Affects: auto-apt (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- auto-apt: fails to find files https://launchpad.net/bugs/50202 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
