I confirm the following behaviour!
1). Install X.Org X server -- joystick input driver ...
X Y axis emulate mouse movement ... if calibration is not PERFECT ...
Cursor wanders!
2). Un- Install X.Org X server -- joystick input driver ... Re-start
X-Server,
Problem
It seems as if xserver-xorg-input-joystick conflicts with qtsixa and got
de-installed when I installed qtsixa/sixad. Since then everything works
as expected.

Ok I am not sure if this is a bug or a misconfiguration of the xserver-
xorg-input-joystick driver... in fact I am confused/ignorant of the

this xorg package might be responsible. So I uninstalled it and
SUCCESS!!! My
Same problem here. Ubuntu 10.04 AMD64 - both my USB joysticks control
the mouse cursor, and the fire button triggers mouse clicks. Didn't

horizontally as well as the Rolling action (turn yoke to the
left/right). The pitch action
I think I did a mistake, the Saitek x52Pro also moves the mouse pointer
once you move the pitch and roll axes.. So problem is not solved.
