You can request either a stable realease update (SRU) [1] or a backport
[2]. SRUs are for bug fixing and backports are for newer version.
Refering to your comment, you want a SRU.

Is there any possibility to create a package for 9.10? It's not really
workable to wait for a new release if a package gets updated... The bugs
are preventing Zoneminder to work properly.

standard aptitude safe-upgrade or is the updated package need to be
downloaded from a ppa or anywhere else?

Hello all,
The current version of Zoneminder in the Ubuntu repository has some serious
bugs, which prevents streaming to
work properly.
Can someone upgrade to Zoneminder 1.24.2? Then I will test the package by
deploying it with multiple Axis
camera's.
