maybe life could be made easier for those who have the font available anyway?
a msttfonts-support package would supply just the defoma hint files for the windows fonts and a command to copy and install the font files. if users have mounted there windows partitions this could be done automatically via locate .ttf | grep -i <font> | grep -v /usr/share/wine and choosing the most appropriate font files for copying. The user has to be informed when doing this, as he has to remove the files, if he quits his windows license.
