Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Calc.ods is certainly better than the old clunky MS excel. But I am having a
few problems with it.
You do not have Msgbox on either the old help or the new website Wiki
version and some others are missing on the Wiki. There is extensive
documentation there but I was unable to find information related to the
following.
How would, or it would be nice to be able to:
1.easily enter data and place in certain sheet and cell while the .ods is
running. Some sort of “message window” would need to be opened and then the
data would be entered with a series of questions and replies. For example,
month, item number, quantity, price. Then it would be placed in a
Sales.(a1+counter) and counter incremented.
2.With a command from keyboard, export, that is transfer data, from a specific
sheet and cells, manipulate the data with a set of commands, and then place
them in a new NewData.ods or NewData.odt.
3.I do now understand Macros or how to use them. Is there somewhere an
extensive example or documentation on it?
4.The information I found in Wiki and help does not give me enough information
to implement it. could you please direct me to such information?
