about i810 chip, and now people are 'me-tooing' with 865, 915 etc chips.
They all deserve own bugs, if you can reproduce this with 10.04 alpha1

This happen to me quite frequently on my Intel graphics system. (Device
manager referes to it as "82915G/GV/910GL Integrated Graphics
Controller".)
It's happened to me it seems every night for the past 3 days. I get this weird
colorful line pattern on my screen.

The error messages dont' match up exactly to bug #176377, so I suspect
it's a separate issue. "Active ring not flushed" is a pretty generic
error message and doesn't indicate what the underlying problem is.

i just did a kubuntu gusty install, did all the updates, and started
configuring my system and had this problem with my GX110 too. So it

This happens to me on any version of ubuntu from dapper on.
And it seems to only happen on Javascript heavy pages.
The only solution I have found is that when I use Enlightenment 17
instead of Gnome it never happens.

Seems to happen for me only on Dell Opti Machines (mine are Dell
Optiplex GX110).
Can reproduce it 90% of the time by browsing a specific email in my

Pretty sure this is a bug in the way xorg handles some PCI bus memory
stiff, not an issue with the i810... I had it affect my ATI and i810
systems.
