Hi All, I'm not a Ubuntu user however I've noticed the same problem in FC and Suse. The core suspect is the gtk-qt-engine package. If it's removed (or if you disable it's use in the KDE control Panel) your OpenOffice icons will reappear. I suggest you move this bug upstream to the package
