side. It could be anything, from VLC driving the memory crazy to a
kernel oops.

Hi,
I was watching a lecture (2h30min) in VLC on speed 1.7. Yes, this may be a
problem with VLC but the system as a whole stopped/froze and I could not do
anything but restart the computer by holding in the power button. After
trying again, it seems that if I switch from VLC (while it is playing)
