Thanks that worked for me. Not sure what version i had though. I did an
update hoping to get the latest one after i had installed it. But still
wouldn't let me install server till i did the above.

This has been fixed upstream for Player 2.0. If 2.0 doesn't land in
-updates then I'll look into backporting it.

Thanks for reminding me. I can confirm this (but I don't see how to do
this in launchpad when logged in as VMware Build Team). I've got a bug
open in VMware's bug tracking system on this, I should have filed a
corrsponding launchpad bug.
