After doing some research I stumpled upon the following discussion:

Solving the described problem with nepomuk is fairly simple:
Just install "virtuoso-driver" and "virtuoso-server"
The problem was, that two file were missing:
"/usr/bin/vi
Hi,
for me this crash is reproducible:
- Start system settings
- Open desktop search section
- Activate nepomuk service
- Click apply
- Nepomuk crashes with flying colours (while so doing it spits out a bunch of
last error dialogs - RIP)
