Hi cllee,
This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .
If it remains
I am now using the beta release version of the software and it appears
to go away. But from time to time, reboot does not work still, and I
have to hold on to the power button to force a shutdown. However, it is
kind of hard to repeat it though.
So, happy for this to be closed.

I did:
sudo shutdown -r now
But I didn´t have any problem. Please You should say the command. Thank You for
making Ubuntu better.

I used sudo su -, typed in my password, and reboot in a terminal
window..
