Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openssl
An automatic update for the libssl0.9.8 package was suggested, so I clicked "Install". After a while, it showed an error with the following: libssl0.9.8_0.9.8g-16ubuntu3.1_i386.deb corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 ProblemType: Package AptOrdering: libssl0.9.8: Install libssl0.9.8: Configure Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Jan 16 08:43:12 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ErrorMessage: corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive Package: libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-16ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-17.54-generic SourcePackage: openssl Title: package libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-16ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive Uname: Linux 2.6.31-17-generic i686 ** Affects: openssl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-package i386 -- package libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-16ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/508410 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
