Also, note that anjuta can't be installed in lucid due a package
conflict with devhelp: upgrade to the debian package will fix this
problem

Hi,
I've seen several changes that are not included in the Debian package:
- patch 02-run-plugin.patch: it's not integrated upstream, nor in Debian
- the -dev package does not install anymore .la file. it would make sense if
static linking is not allowed
