Martin Pitt has followed through and removed the NBS texlive binaries
after confirming they're no longer used, so this bug is fixed now.

Ok, that should be it. I think there are just alternative dependencies

Right, I believe we just have
musixpss
revtex
src2tex
tex-skak
to sort out before we remove the packages, as the rest have
alternative dependencies on the new packages.
I have the feeling we will actually want to remove at least some of
these.

Oh those were just build-deps by the way, there are also universe/multiverse
deps
to investigate too.
Done: am-utils, apcupsd, boa
bacula-doc fails to build.
debian-faq has a debdiff at bug 531711.

The new texlive-base package has dropped tetex-bin, which is still
listed as a build dependency of a significant number of packages in
universe:
http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/NBS/tetex-bin
Some of these may be fixed in Debian, but I don't know for sure which

As far as I can see Kees' patch is not included in this 2009-7.

The package builds now on lucid.
@Daniel: The patch was applied in version 2007.dfsg.2-7 of the texlive-
bin package and not in texlive-base.
