Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
When going into "add to panel" and scrolling to find FUSA and it is not there. Instead it is called "indicator applet". This is confusing because there is already something called "indicator applet" Reading description it tells you what it does but im sure new users or people expection to see "FUSA" or something else related to it "our name" or what not. Steps to reproduce: 1 right click on panel 2. choose "add to panel" 3. scroll down list until you find "indicator applet" and you will see 2 named the same but description Expected results: Rename Fusa's indicator applet to be noticedso users dont scroll right past it or they may think its the same one and disreguard it thinking its a double entry ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Jan 21 07:42:47 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: gnome-panel 1:2.29.5.1-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=C SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-11.15-generic SourcePackage: gnome-panel Uname: Linux 2.6.32-11-generic i686 ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid -- FUSA name in "add to panel" is confusing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/510628 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
