I also have an old sblive and this problem does not only occur when upgrading
to dapper
I have the last few days been upgrading from breezy->dapper dapper->edgy and
edgy-feisty
In all of these steps I encountered that the installation changes the
card-ID, the easiest workaround is shown in this
The same problem occurs on my laptop after upgrading to dapper.
