There simply appeared the crash report utility of apport. I do not even
know when and why it happened, can be days ago.

As far as I have seen in the weekly desktop team meeting and status
reports HAL is deprecated for detecting input devices for X.org. So this
bug can be irrelevant or even caused by a not yet complete switchover to
the new method.
