Sree, that is a totally different bug, probably caused by you having the
wrong permissions set on your note directory, or from running out of
disk space.
If the problem persists, you should open a new bug.

not sure if the fix is in yet but i just wanted to report that i cannot
start tomboy on lucid - fails from Applications or if i add to panel.
Icon briefly appears on panel before disappearing with the error "died
unexpectedly". here's the log from tomboy --debug:

the indicator change was added back by mistake in the 1.1.1-0ubuntu1
upload due to a commit not push to the packaging vcs, that has been
fixed in 1.1.1-0ubuntu2 3 days ago now, closing this bug, the current
issue is the one I mentioned before

different. The cause of this bug is quite clearly the app indicator
patch.

The packager didn't do anything intentionally. They just didn't realize
that the app indicator patch would no longer work with Tomboy 1.1.1.
So now, either Jason will update the patch, or the Ubuntu guys will
remove it from their Tomboy package.
