Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager I did an upgrade on a laptop, not realizing that it was running on the battery. During the installation (after everything was downloaded) the battery was empty and the laptop shut down (don't know whether it was graceful or not). I think the upgrade should warn the user when the computer is running on battery power, and perhaps even refuse to continue while this is so. ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- empty battery during upgrade causes unusable system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/517492 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
