Richard, i think that your Backtrace is not good, because you must
install first the kdebase-dbg... or recompile konqueror/kdebase with
debug option enabled!
However, my Backtrace is fully edgy updated! =)

A little testing shows that this does not happen if Javascript is
disabled. However, enabling Javascript and reloading the page will crash
Konqueror.

While I don't think this is the problem (I've got an Athlon 64 3200+,
which is perfectly capable of running i686 instructions), what's an i686
thread library (see the second line of the backtrace) doing in an i386
distro?
