Bug still present for me, but in Prism. I can't restart Prism without
deleting compatibility.ini if xul-ext-gears is installed. A Gears xpi I
manually installed works fine however. This is in Lucid

Bug still present for me after updating to Firefox 3.6.3 (Ubuntu Hardy,
using Firefox from Ubuntuzilla repo). Adding rm
~/.mozilla/firefox/*.default/compatibility.ini to /opt/firefox/firefox
script right before run-mozilla.sh is launched works around it.

I am running the Lucid beta, did not see prism installed on my system.
Deleting the compatibility.ini file method is working for me.
I do have to keep deleting the compatibility.ini file each time after using
Firefox or it will fail to launch next time.

I always deleted the .mozilla folder at my home to have Firefox working, and
now without Prism it works as nothing happened

Hi, I've this bug too, it never work. I discovered that if before
starting fireofx I remove the
.mozilla/firefox/dpr696di.default*compatibility.ini file, it start in
the good way. I link a copy of this file. Maybe it's not due to the same
bug I don't know
