simple mp3's nothing spacial. the bit-rate dose not go higer then 320
kbs.
i have managed to reproduce the bug while using the debug flag
in order to gain accesses to the X server i had to go the terminal (via Ctrl +
Alt + F1) and kill nautilus
totem --version
totem 2.28.2
totem --debug

Also, I tried to reproduce your problem and couldn't get it to happen on
the lucid daily image from 2-24. What kind of files were you playing?

on my computer I have only one user. so it could not happed from the same
reasons.
i have manged to reproduce the bug on Ubuntu 9.10 (i have downgraded from 10.4
alpha)
if you want to reproduce the bug you can try to drag and drop some files to
totem after few times totem always freeze.

I have a guess at what is causing this: Changing screens. I tried to
change users and got this error, and the bug reporter changed screens to
get to text terminal.
