No problem, I'm glad you were able to find out what was causing this
problem. I am marking this bug as "Invalid" since it turned out to be a
settings issue and not a bug with the package itself.

OK, the first main difference I can find is that your system seems to be
accessing different files in the .w3m folder inside your home folder,
whereas mine doesn't find any. Can you please confirm whether or not
there are files inside that folder, such as a config file?

I am, but unfortunately your output is very similar to my output and I
can't find a specific error that stands out as possibly being the issue.
I will try to look into these outputs more, but while I was doing that I

Thank you for adding all of this information using Apport. I have
checked my system, and I can still load websites just fine with w3m and
I have all of the same versions of the packages installed for w3m. Can
you please list the steps you take to reproduce this bug (as
specifically as possible)?

Thank you for responding so quickly. Sorry about that, I didn't notice
the w3m version number in the description. Can you please run 'apport-
collect 520844' in the terminal? This will add more in-depth information
about your system to this report.

My previous does include that information. But I will explicitely tell
you:
~% dpkg -l |grep w3m
ii w3m 0.5.2-2ubuntu1 WWW browsable pager with excellent tables/fr
~% cat /etc/issue
Ubuntu 9.10 \n \l
And I can reproduce this on all my three karmic installs. They are 64
and 32 bit architectures.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reproduce this bug
on my machine. Can you please let us know what version of Ubuntu you are
using and what version of w3m you have installed?
