Public bug reported: Binary package hint: blender
Ubuntu i386 9.10, blender 2.49a+dfsg-0ubuntu2 Adding the video on http://webspace.netaction.de/tmp/videosample/ works, but playback always crashes. It is possible to view the video with ffplayer, so it is no issue with ffmpeg. Seems as if swscaler is called wrong and causes a stack corrumption or buffer overwrite. It is possible to add the video after converting to mpg with $ ffmpeg -sameq -i MVI_3280.MOV MVI_3280.mpg ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Feb 13 19:51:56 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) NonfreeKernelModules: wl nvidia Package: blender 2.49a+dfsg-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-19.56-generic SourcePackage: blender Uname: Linux 2.6.31-19-generic i686 ** Affects: blender (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Crash when playback of HD videos https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/521472 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
