I found an existing bug report for my hardware and marked it as applying
to me (#234519). There are actually dozens of similar bug reports for
various hardware (just search for "second resume"), many of which I
suspect are all due to the kernel bug I linked to earlier. It doesn't

Josh: your hardware is different, could you please open a separate bug? If this
turns out to be the same bug you can easily mark it as a duplicate later.

OK, I'll try, but I should do drive backup before, Also I can't imagine
my work in Ubuntu without compiz effects. I'm using it for 5 years and
always use fglrx driver. I'll try only to ensure exactly this driver
raises this problem with resume.

I recently installed Linux (Kubuntu 9.10 i386) on my wife's Compaq
Presario C700, and her computer has the same symptom. The first time I
