Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: usplash

Hi,

I just installed Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic amd64 with / and /home dm-crypt-encrypted.
On boot, the usual splash screen appears, asks for the /-password. Then the
splash breaks and some lines of fsck-output are printed. The splash reappears,
asks for the /home-password and continues the boot process.

Though not critical, this bug is annoying because my monitor goes to
standby from time to time when changing the video mode and thus loosing
the video stream for a short time. This means I sometimes have to turn
my monitor on and off during boot ...

Thank you for your help!
