I was able to test this yesterday and got past where it was hanging. I
did run into some errors with my squashfs, but it could have been due to
my rebuild or media. Certainly this gets us past where it was
previously hanging

Eric posted a fixed version of the kernel for lucid here:
http://people.canonical.com/~ycmiao/dove-x0test/ It is reported to
work, but I have not personally tested yet. I'm currently in the middle
of rebuilding the image so I can test it.
