Just checked, works like a charm. However we should keep an eye on the
underlying issue. There is no reason why plasma shouldnt be able to use
the additional space on a wide screen and place the plasmoid next to the
folderview...

kubuntu-default-settings 10.04ubuntu14 includes a fix "Only add
microblog widget when absolute screen size is >=1024x768", presumably
that isn't enough for this bug?
