caused by increases in lucid and there is very little information to
assume this.

With the commanfd 'sudo usbserial vendor=0x12d1 product=0x1003', my
modem was reconized.

This morning, I see that I have two version of kernel, one with -pae at
the end and one without...
The bug appears only with the 2.6.32-14-generic-pae.
The modem is well detected with the 2.6.32-14-generic version...
